White Cliffs Pipeline

The 527-mile White Cliffs Pipeline system connects the DJ Basin to the Cushing, Oklahoma market. White Cliffs includes two 12-inch diameter common carrier pipelines, one for crude transport and one that is currently being converted to natural gas liquids (NGL) service. The pipeline system originates in Platteville, Colorado, northeast of Denver, and terminates at SemGroup’s storage facility in Cushing. SemGroup is the majority owner of the pipeline and also serves as the pipeline operator.

The original White Cliffs Pipeline was placed into service in 2009 with an initial design capacity of approximately 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day. It was expanded to include the second pipeline in 2014 followed by subsequent expansions. NGL transportation capabilities are now being added.
