The White Cliffs Pipeline® system consists of two 527-mile, 12-inch diameter common carrier, crude oil pipelines that move crude out of the DJ Basin to the Cushing, Oklahoma market. This gives our customers access to alternative markets at one of the largest crude oil marketplaces in the world. The pipeline system originates in Platteville, Colorado, northeast of Denver, and terminates at Rose Rock Midstream’s storage facility in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Rose Rock Midstream owns 51 percent of the pipeline and also serves as the pipeline operator.
The original White Cliffs Pipeline was placed into service in 2009 with an initial design capacity of approximately 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day. It was expanded to include the second pipeline in 2014 followed by subsequent expansions. The pipeline’s current capacity is about 215,000 barrels per day.
